I graduated with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach K-8. I have taught full time in New Jersey and in Arizona. I have a Reading Instruction Specialist Certification from Academic Associates Learning Center.
Experience
I have taught grades K-8 all subjects for 10 years, plus grades 7-12 all subjects for 3 years, and tutored math and reading for 20+ years. I tutor students because I believe that everyone can learn and sometimes they just need a little extra help and attention. I love to see my students when they have that "aha!" moment, when they finally get it, when they master something they've been struggling with.
