I graduated with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach K-8. I have taught full time in New Jersey and in Arizona. I have a Reading Instruction Specialist Certification from Academic Associates Learning Center.
Experience
I have taught grades K-8 all subjects for 10 years, plus grades 7-12 all subjects for 3 years, and tutored math and reading for 20+ years. I tutor students because I believe that everyone can learn and sometimes they just need a little extra help and attention. I love to see my students when they have that "aha!" moment, when they finally get it, when they master something they've been struggling with.

Hobbies
My interests and hobbies include growing herbs and flowers, playing piano and ukulele, creating art, swimming and bike riding. I am currently the owner of Florida Kids Do Science, a program for birthday parties, school and after school programs and summer camps where the kids do fun and hands-on science activities. I also teach cupcake decorating and art for kids, either at birthday parties or after school classes.
