Math is a big part of my life because I love how it can teach us about the world, and I value its ability to bring out strengths that people may not have been aware they possessed. A solid grasp of basic math concepts can help any student to learn higher-level, more complex math, such as Chaotic Dynamics, my favorite course to tutor. In my 18 years of professional tutoring, it has always been my job to show students they have this ability by giving them the necessary skills and confidence. My favorite thing about tutoring is the individual attention I am able to give each student and the opportunity to share the fun and enjoyable side of math with others. In addition to my almost 50 years of tutoring in some form or another, I have a multitude of mathematics degrees, including a double major in Mathematics and Education, a master's degree in Mathematics, a master's degree in Education, and a master's degree in Systems Engineering. I have also completed courses at the doctoral level at Temple University. In my free time, I like to sing, dance, sew, read, and build. I also like to experience all the knowledge and adventure the world has to offer.
